About Us

Mission & Goal
Striving to provide our audiences with quality information and assistance in their struggle with addiction is our primary goal at Addiction Center. We’re focused on maintaining the well-being of the people visiting our site at the forefront of any work we do. Our ultimate mission is to ensure people looking for help have the tools and information to find it.
about page photoHow We Are Different
Unlike many sites operating in this space, Addiction Center is not integrated with any one treatment center or chain of treatment centers. This gives us unique flexibility in providing access to centers across the US rather than in one location. Since we started Addiction Center in 2014, we have 10 years of development and that time has allowed us to grow our web presence and organic search performance. We focus on providing thoroughly researched and high-quality information and we work to make sure our content is easy to find and accessible.
about page photoOur Promises And Commitments
We’re committed to providing information that’s not only accurate, but sensitive to the stigma people struggling with substance use disorders experience. We want to ensure that people feel comfortable and welcomed on our site and aren’t made to feel blamed for their experiences. Our team works hard to ensure site users have access to detailed information on treatment centers, as well as information on addiction and recovery topics, so they can be prepared for their recovery journey.
Our Community Outreach Team
The in-house team at Addiction Center is responsible for reaching out to relevant partners and spreading awareness about addiction and recovery. Their collective hope is that the information on this site will help reduce the stigma of addiction and empower people to find the treatment they deserve.
Our Editorial Team
In order to provide information up to our standards, we have our own in-house team of writers. They research pertinent topics from trustworthy sources to create our content and work towards spreading awareness about these issues to our relevant partners. The social stigma can often turn people away from asking for help with their addiction, and our writers keep that in mind when producing sensitive and informative content. Their goal is to help people take the path forward that’s best for their health and happiness.

reatment For Ketamine Addiction
Ketamine addiction is difficult to overcome. Often, co-occurring disorders and polydrug use is also present, requiring a high level of care. Many inpatient rehabs offer treatment programs for ketamine addiction that can range from 28 days to several months. Outpatient programs may also be available in your area.
Because ketamine dependence is a psychological addiction, various modes of therapy are often integrated into ketamine addiction treatment. Some of these include:
  • Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which addresses thinking patterns that affect behaviors.
  • Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), which introduces mindful awareness and stress management.
  • Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), which combines mindfulness and acceptance therapies with commitment and behavior-change strategies.
Getting professional treatment is the best way to ensure a successful recovery, but this requires the user to be totally committed to stopping use of ketamine
Ketamine is a difficult drug to detox from due to the highly unpredictable psychotic behaviors that can present during withdrawal and detoxification and the intense cravings. Careful monitoring by an expert clinical staff is key to a successful recovery. After treatment it is important to have a support system in place to provide a sense of community and accountability. This may include family and non-using friends, or a recovery-based support group such as Narcotics Anonymous or SMART Recovery™.
If you or someone you care about is struggling with a ketamine addiction, there is support available. Contact a treatment provider today.
